My grandsons and I liked black bear diner so much, we went two days in a row! Good food especially on a rainy Sunday! Michelle was our server on Sunday. She was very pleasant and offered us good service! A fav we will return to in the future!

Went to Black Bear Diner and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting with two dining areas—we were seated in the open section, which was perfect for catching up with my childhood best friend. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the wait time was minimal. The menu has a huge variety with something for everyone. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. What stood out most was how comfortable the environment was—it’s a great place whether you’re dining with friends, family, or just want a casual meal. I’ll definitely be going back and would highly recommend Black Bear Diner to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Best breakfast restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Michelle was my server and she was the best! We just talked and she was very kind to us. I am a teenager and she made us laugh a lot, also letting my family reminisce on the old times with newspapers and landlines. She made jokes with me and told us a few funny stories about her son. She was very relatable and boosted the experience. The food was also out of this world, I got the chicken fried steak and it was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp. The orange juice is hand squeezed, I would have gallons of it if I could. The rest of the food was delightful and filled with flavor. The atmosphere felt like we were at home and the place had such a nice feeling in the air. The other guests seemed very happy with everything too and the experience was great overall.
We had a wonderful experience with our server, Michelle. She was incredibly patient with the kids and even brought them some fruit to enjoy while they waited for their food. With six children at our table, things were understandably lively—especially since they had stayed up late the night before and were a bit more emotional and energetic than usual. Our waitress thoughtfully asked us first before offering the kids candy canes, which was a sweet way to help calm and cheer them up. The food was delicious, and Michelle quickly noticed that my order was slightly incorrect. She promptly brought a new dish before I even had a chance to mention it. She truly made our dining experience special!
Michelle our waitress was outstanding!! I’d even go as far as to say she was THE best waitress I’ve dealt with. We had a party of 25 people and she handled it perfectly! We had to wait a while but before we sat down she had waters out on the table and immediately started taking our drink order. The food was warm and quickly came out. I’d go back just to have her wait on us again!
Michelle made our experience so warm and welcoming. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. The food was great, the atmosphere was cozy, and her customer service truly stood out. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she serves. Thank you, Michelle, for making our visit such a pleasant one!
Our server, Michelle, was great! She was very friendly, and she handled our group of 20+ people really well. Black Bear Diner is a good place to get bang for your buck. The portions are sizeable and the prices are reasonable. You won't get blown away by the flavors, but it's still good.
We went here for a breakfast themed meal and it was great. We love the sweet pancakes and thick bacon. Not that think crap at other breakfast places. My girls had a large selection of kids' choice menu items. They have so many deals that it makes it a great place to go to. Michelle, our server was really nice and came several times to make sure we had all that we needed, including several water, butter, syrup, and take-home box trips.. ask for Michelle to serve you, and you'll get the mvp experience.
